Makers we work with
Hayson chest of drawers are built heavy, with deep drawers and generous proportions. Burgess is known for clean lines and reliable drawer runners that still work today. Fler brought careful proportion and well-chosen local hardwoods to its bedroom pieces. Parker dressers carry the same sculpted handles and tapered legs as their sideboards. Chiswell built solid, square chests with understated detailing. Berryman rounds out the makers we restore, valued for honest, well-made pieces.

Do you deliver, and where?
Yes. We ship Australia wide from our Cheltenham workshop in Melbourne, with insured delivery to Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide, Brisbane and regional areas. Local Melbourne delivery and studio collection are also available.
What condition are the dressers in?
Every dresser and chest of drawers is restored in house. We repair the timber, re-level and wax the drawers, and hand finish each piece so it is ready for daily use. Any honest signs of age are shown in the photos.
How do you confirm the maker?
Each dresser is researched and attributed wherever the maker can be identified. We identify the maker from construction, labels and hardware, and only attribute a maker when we are confident. Where a maker cannot be confirmed, we list the piece as maker unconfirmed.
Can I view a piece before buying, and what if it is not right?
You are welcome to view any piece in person at our Cheltenham studio by appointment. Every piece is one of one and photographed in detail, so you can buy with confidence. If something is not right, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will make it right.
