These highly collectible, highly sought after vintage TH Brown stools are my favourite stools on the market, they are a statement piece for any vintage inspired home. If you know, you know! 🙂 These are the highly sought after cigar leg shape, and are in great vintage condition.

TH Brown began manufacturing these in 1960, they are an iconic and timeless Australian design, and are made of stunning Blackwood.

These come from my own personal collection (I own a vintage furniture business!) and since I’m moving house I don’t have a bench or bar to place them at. 😭 They come with their original fabric, but you can always have them reupholstered to a leather or fabric you prefer, I have a professional upholsterer I recommend to all of my clients, and they’ll be inexpensive to do, it’s a small job.

I have 4 available and my preference is to sell them as a set and have given a discount for the whole set, but I would be open to selling a pair. For the set of 4 is $3800 for a pair $2000.

Dimensions are seat to floor - 67cm H to 75cm H. They are a swivel chair to make them comfortable and adjustable to the height of your bench or bar. Each swivel works perfectly.

Condition is documented at the time of sourcing and every restoration decision is made to preserve the original character of the piece.

Restored pieces: finish stripped, surface repaired, refinished in period-correct oil or lacquer. All drawer runners run smoothly and hardware adjusted where required.

Painted pieces: mid-century form finished in deep considered colour. Each piece has multiple coats applied of primer, paint and top coat to ensure a durable professional sprayed finish.

Melbourne metro: $80–$150 depending on size and location. Delivered by our team, placed in your room of choice.

Regional Victoria and interstate: from $300. We use specialist furniture couriers for interstate delivery. Quote provided at checkout or on request.

Change-of-mind returns are not accepted on furniture. If a piece arrives damaged or materially different from its description, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will resolve it. Given the value of our pieces our couriers have shipping insurance which is included in your delivery fee.
